The Grandpa's Natural Balm Finish


"...Grandpa's Natural Finish is a combination of different natural oils and a balm extracted from the larch tree. The oils are applied to the wood several times for a period of 2-3 weeks (depending on wood). I always have to sand very intensively between each oiling.

When the oils are finally dried, the wood surface will be covered with some smooth layers of larch balm. After drying for at least 2 weeks I start polishing the balm. It's a very high-class natural finish.

I learned this from my Grandpa - that's where its name comes from..."
