Hello Bassplayers and -friends! 2008 has been extremely busy for us here in Deidesheim!
Beside taking care of the standard orders, I’m always experimenting
with new materials and designs. So mid of 2009 I will release some new
instrument designs and concepts. So stay tuned! Last fall we almost had to move the Ritter Bass Guitars workshop out of the old winery, because the property was supposed to be sold. Luckily, I was able to purchase the property last month. So our production will stay here in this nice neighbourhood. You are always very welcome to visit us here in Deidesheim / Germany.

1. PHIL LESH Jupiter " Eye of Horus" LIMITED EDITION The Jupiter 6-String “Eye of Horus” was custom ordered by Phil Lesh of the Grateful Dead in January 2008. The Bass is now released at the NAMM Show 2009. It is a limited Edition of only 10 instruments! The Roya Concept is now also available with frets. The first Bass turned out as a 4-String with Futura Finish and Asian Ebony "Fingerboard". Miscellaneous designs will follow soon. Hello Bassplayers and -friends! Time
passes by so quickly. It’s more than 10 years ago that I started
building bass guitars. I’m happy to say that it is still my passion
and I’m glad that - besides all the obstacles - I still have the
possibility to be free to do what I like most. Although my road was not
an easy one. I want to thank all the people who supported me over the last years, especially my family and my friend Daniel who is the “right hand” of Ritter Bass Guitars. I thank all my customers. Without your feedback and affirmation for what I’m doing, my Basses wouldn’t exist. On the occasion of my 10th Anniversary I release a limited edition of 10 Roya “Late Lounge” Basses today. These are all illegal knockoffs made of bad quality. I don´t cooperate
with other producers and I don´t sell my designs to mass production

NEWS January 2007 Hello Bassplayers and -friends! The year 2006 has been extremely busy for Ritter Bass Guitars. We moved into a new bigger studio with more space for production because the amount of orders just kept increasing. Still, by the end of the year, Daniel and I had big problems to handle all the orders. Luckily my father retired a few weeks ago and is now with Ritter Bass Guitars. I’m
very sorry for the order stop of the last months. But otherwise the order
time would have passed one year and I don’t like to schedule my
business for more than 12 months. The News 11.January 2007:

just made, beside others, a few very pompous basses featuring massive
Gold pieces, Diamonds and other gemstones. At the moment I’m working

NEWS July 2006 Hello Bassplayers and -friends! I'm sorry to tell You that I will not take any more orders until October 2006. At the moment our capacity has reached more than maximum.
